The gorgeous actress Disha Patani has become quite popular in the industry and amongst fans within in a short period of Time. Tiger Shroff’s alleged ladylove Disha made her Bollywood debut with Neeraj Pandey’s ‘M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story’ in which she played the role Dhoni’s late girlfriend Priyanka Jha. Her role opposite Sushant Singh Rajput did garner praises. The Bollywood movie lovers did love her act in the film. Now Disha has fans across the country. The actress recently visited Hyderabad to attend a jewellery store opening event where the unfortunate incident happened – Disha was mobbed by some rowdy crowd who tried to pull and grab her, leaving her bruised. As per a leading daily, when the actress arrived at the venue there was a huge crowd around the store.
An eye witness who accompanied Disha Patani for the event was quoted saying, “When Disha reached the venue, there was a huge crowd waiting for her. As soon as she stepped out of the car, the crowd started getting closer despite the security arrangements and in the process, Disha was hurt,” reports TOI. The eye witness further said, “Though her injuries aren’t severe, she has sustained a few bruises. Having made her Tollywood debut with ‘Loafer’, Disha knew that people would recognise her, but she didn’t expect to this kind of crowd frenzy. It came as a shock.”
This is not the first time that a celebrity was getting mobbed by fans and getting injured. Few months ago it was actress Kalki Koechlin who got mobbed at the National Award ceremony. It was like a nightmare for the actress who was groped by fans outside the venue. This incident took place at Vigyan Bhavan in Delhi where the National Award ceremony was held. It’s not just the commoners who attack the celebrities. Even the paparazzi are not less in leaving the celebs upset in order to just get a picture. Preity Zinta who literally lost her cool later took to the micro-blogging site Twitter and expressed how the photographers misbehaved in order to get a picture. On October 10, the ‘Kal Ho Naa Ho’ actress tweeted, “1) Please don’t jump on us or PUSH our PARENTS or KIDS or friends n family for a photo. ASK POLITELY or U will NEVER get a proper photo ! 2) If a star’s security pushes you there is a GOODENOUGH Reason that U deserved it so stop making news about how badly behaved we are Pls. 3) If I don’t want to be photographed I will hide my face. Not cuz I have had bad surgery, or have no make up or whatever – It just means NO. 4) It’s my face, my life and my choice ! If I’m dying to be photographed I will post it on twitter or Instagram so pls be polite or OK BYE. 5) Next time U take my picture don’t look for body parts you can circle or put in a loop later on to body shame me & make money for you. 6) You & Me – we both have to live here. If you are more considerate & decent you will probably get great images & LEAVE THE KIDS alone.”
