The film has inched towards Rs 250 crore in just 17 days. The film was made on a budget of Rs 180 crore with an additional Rs 20 crore spent on converting it into a 3D version. Not only has the film recovered its costs, it has also started earning profits, making it the first blockbuster of 2018. Let’s not forget the film achieved this great feat amidst countless controversies perpetrated by the fringe Rajput outfit called the Karni Sena, that didn’t allow the period drama to release in four major states of India—Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat and Haryana. Also Read - Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani: Alia Bhatt-Ranveer Singh's Starrer Is All-In-All Karan Johar Film | Watch
