For a film as grand as Padmaavat which has gone through delays and marred by so many controversies, this is indeed an exceptional performance. Even within the country, despite the film being banned in four major states of Rajasthan, Gujarat, Haryana and Madhya Pradesh, it has still managed to collect 56 crores in the first two days, which is a great feat in itself. Given that the next films, Aiyaary and Padman, are slated to release on February 9, Padmaavat has sufficient time to touch great heights with its BO collections.
