CBFC made it a Happy New Year for Sanjay Leela Bhansali after finally decided to clear Padmavati with a few alterations. The special panel that included historians as well, saw the film and gave it a U/A certificate. Fresh reports suggest that the Rashtriya Rajput Karni Sena after being silent during this period, are not going to sit out this time as well. The community will begin a nationwide protest against the film today. There have been talks that the makers are finalising a release date of February 9, and the authorities responsible for clearing the film are under the crosshairs. The Rajput Karni Sena demands the resignation of I&B minister Smriti Irani, politician and former shooter Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore, and CBFC chief Prasoon Joshi. This means SLB still has the good fight ahead of him. ALSO READ: Deepika Padukone – Shahid Kapoor – Ranveer Singh’s Padmavat To Release On February 9?
