Pallavi, in an interaction with ANI said, “A lot of people are confused…But this film is not based on Covid. We are only talking about how the vaccine was made and the problems faced during that time. This is not a dark film in any sense…It is a very positive film that celebrates our success. The audience will be filled with pride when they leave the theatres after watching it…We have proved that India can do it…” Vivek had released the trailer of his film on his social media handles and captioned his post as, “PRESENTING: The trailer of your film #TheVaccineWar. Film releases on 28th Sept 2023. Pl bless us. Thanks.❤️” Vivek Agnihotri recently reacted to the low media hype around The Vaccine War in an interview with News 18 and said, “If you take a look at the list of upcoming films and the most anticipated releases put forth by news channels and newspapers, none of them include The Vaccine War. Since the last nine months, people were aware that we’re making this film. This morning, an eminent trade analyst sent me one such list of the expected films of this month and they stated that the next big hit will be another film that’s also releasing on September 28.” He further added, “That list of releases didn’t even include the name of our film as if we don’t even exist. If we don’t exist, how will anyone even finance our film? Aise situation mein kua khud khodna padhta hai aur paani nikalna padhta hai (In this situation, I will have to dig the well and also take the water out myself).”

The Vaccine War also stars Nana Patekar, Raima Sen, Sapthami Gowda, Girija Oak and Anupam Kher in crucial roles.
