John Abraham and Diana Penty’s Parmanu: The Story Of Pokhran finally hit screens last Friday and was appreciated by the critics and loved by the audience for the storyline and performances of the lead cast. On the first Monday which is crucial for any film after its release, the film managed to hold ground as it made Rs 4.10 crore. Talking about the latest box office numbers of Parmanu, trade analyst Taran Adash took to Twitter and wrote, “#Parmanu has a SUPER-STRONG Mon… Has 14.94% decline on Mon [vis-à-vis Fri]… The glowing word of mouth has helped consolidate its position… Fri 4.82 cr, Sat 7.64 cr, Sun 8.32 cr, Mon 4.10 cr. Talking about the film’s success an elated John Abraham while talking to the reporters said, ” I am thankful to audience and media because they have appreciated our film. Abhishek (Sharma) and me, both of us are feeling very relieved and happy that this film worked at the box-office.” He also said, “This film not only has garnered a positive response from the critics and audience but, I think everything in this film has come together.
