Paul Feig reveals Ghostbusters character names

Los Angeles, Jul 19: Director Paul Feig has revealed the four character names for the paranormal exterminators in the all-female “Ghostbusters” reboot.(READ: ‘Ghostbusters’ star Harold Ramis dead )

Feig, tweeted the names after being asked to identify the characters by a “Ghostbusters” fan account.”Okay, here you go. Erin Gilbert, Jillian Holtzmann, Abby Yates and Patty Tolan. Now you know even more,” Feig wrote.Melissa McCarthy will play Yates, with Kristin Wiig as Gilbert, Kate McKinnon as Holtzmann and Leslie Jones as Tolan in the movie.Australian actor Chris Hemsworth is doing a special role of the receptionist, played by Annie Potts in the original movie.

Neil Casey of “Broad City” fame will be playing the villain in the film.The “Ghostbuster” reboot will also have an appearance by actor Dan Aykroyd, who starred in the original “Ghostbusters” in 1984 as Ray Stantz.
