Shilpa Shetty and husband Raj Kundra‘s dinner date night met a nasty ending as the restaurant they visited, saw its bouncers get into an ugly scuffle with the media personnel who were taking pictures of the couple. Shilpa and Raj stepped out of Bastion restaurant in Bandra after dinner and were met with photographers waiting since long to take their pictures. The couple happily posed for the paparazzi and got their pictures clicked, before moving on to their car.

The restaurant’s bouncers reportedly got furious towards photographers and started pushing them away as Shilpa and Raj sat in the car. The photographers retaliated and the situation went from bad to worse.  The video below shows the bouncers landing heavy blows to the photographers in a group scuffle, and were even beating up those who tried to calm things down. The two photographers were battered, bruised and bleeding after the assault and had to be hospitalised later. An FIR against the two has been registered at Khar police station and the two have been arrested. Things weren’t helping the bouncers after the eye witnesses all blamed them for the assault, claiming the photographers weren’t at fault.

Shilpa and Raj have not issued any statement regarding this situation but the restaurant has said that the bouncers were outsourced and they have taken steps in this regard. Meanwhile, Shilpa will be seen hosting what will be India’s first live game show on TV, titled Aunty Boli Lagao Boli: Sabse Kam Sabse Anokhi.
