Pooja Gor reacts to closure of Sushant Singh Rajput’s case: ‘Hope Rhea finds…’ – Exclusive

Sushant Singh Rajput's death case was cleared by CBI after almost five years of endless trials and untold miseries faced by families of the late actor and Rhea Chakraborty. In an exclusive conversation, Pooja Gor responds on the recent closure report.

The unfortunate passing away of actor Sushant Singh Rajput in 2020 shattered lives around him and left a void. After five years, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has filed the closure report and gave a clean chit to Rhea Chakraborty and her family. After endless media trials, controversies and conspiracy theories being rife, the case has been closed by the agency. Actress Pooja Gor, Sushant Singh Rajput’s, co-star responded to the verdict pronounced on the case.

The two actors had worked together in the film ‘Kedarnath’ that was released in 2018. It was also the debut film of Pooja Gor where she essayed the role of Brinda, Mukku’s (Sara Ali Khan) sister.

Sushant Singh Rajput’s Death

‘Pavitra Rishta’ famed actor Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead in June 14, 202 at his residence in Bandra, Mumbai. This led to a massive uproar and subsequent controversies. Initially the case was being investigated by Mumbai Police but was later transferred to CBI. Cases were filed in Patna, Mumbai from Sushants’ family and Rhea as well.

In an exclusive conversation with India.com, Gor talked about the latest move on the case that had been going on for years. When asked about her take on the same she responded, “What I can say is that I am happy that Rhea has got the decision what she has got. I hope that she finds more peace to move on and live on and she can heal from whatever has happened around her, with her.” Recently, Rhea Chakraborty’s friend shared shocking details about how life turned 360 degrees for the actress and her family.

Further, when asked if Gor thinks that now there has been a closure or justice, she added, “But overall, I honestly don’t, I am nobody to comment on whether justice happened or didn’t happen because I don’t know what happened. I am just happy that it’s over and there’s people that can move ahead.”

Much like other actors, co-stars and colleagues of SSR, the ‘Maan Ki Awaaz Pratigya’ famed actress was shocked upon the news of the sad demise. Remembering the actor, she had once painted stars and galaxies trying to cope up with the irreparable loss and wrote, “I hope that your mother’s warm embrace and the stars & galaxies that so fascinated you, are able to soften the pain & suffering you were going through…A thorough gentleman & an incomparable talent.”

On the work front, Pooja Gor will be seen as Officer Durga in a suspense thriller web show titled ‘Adrishyam’ that is returning on SonyLIV for its second season.
