When Princess Diana’s marriage fell apart with Prince Charles in 1992, Donald Trump was the happiest man. His eyes were all on the gorgeous Princess Diana. After her marriage broke up, businessman Donald Trump reportedly sent her bouquet of flowers, reports the Sunday Times of London.

The billionaire businessman bombarded Princess Diana not just with flowers but saw her as the ‘ultimate trophy wife’. He made his likeness so obvious by showering flowers it felt as if he was stalking Princess Diana. Broadcaster Selina Scott said, “Trump clearly saw Diana as the ultimate trophy wife. As the roses and orchids piled up at her apartment she became increasingly concerned about what she should do. Donald Trump who is now running for United States President once described Princess Diana as his ‘dream lady’. He always wanted to date Princess of Wales. In 1997 when she met with a car accident in Paris, he told his friends he regrets of not been able to romance her.
