Priyanka Chopra fans can rejoice as the actress has reportedly signed her next after Salman Khan‘s Bharat. Though there was buzz about this film earlier, according to the latest development as reported by Mumbai Mirror, Dangal actress Zaira Wasim will be seen playing Priyanka Chopra and Abhishek Bachchan‘s daughter in Shonali Bose’s next. The film is inspired by the real-life story of Aisha Chaudhary. The Dangal actress will step into the role of the young protagonist. Siddharth Roy Kapur and Ronnie Screwvala will produce this film. Talking about this latest development, a source was quoted by the tabloid saying, “Zaira really liked the script and has given her nod to the project. Shonali is currently busy with the pre-production and is hoping to start shooting by the middle of this year in Mumbai. Talking about Aisha Chaudhary, Aisha was born with an immune deficiency disorder and was diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis when she was just 13. Despite this, she inspired many through her book sharing what gave her a sense of hope since she was 15. She was named an INK Fellow following her speeches in the 2011 and 2013 INK Conferences and was also a speaker at TEDx Pune in 2013. She passed away when she was 18 in January 2015.
