Priyanka Chopra is the global icon in the truest form now. We saw her becoming sucessful in Bollywood and Hollywood films already. Now this desi girl has also amazingly emerged successful in non-filmy work like being the global brand ambassador for UNICEF. Recently, we saw PC going to the remote areas of Zimbabve to learn about the problems faced by women and children there. She posted numerous posts about how the children are still facing sexual violence in these areas. Now again she has come up with one more video teaming up with none other than popular star Wiz Khalifa! The video that she stars in is a socially conscious GAP commercial known for ‘Bridging the Gap’.
The video is totally filled with positivity and hope and has faces from different corners of the world. Priyanka Chopra got this wonderful opportunity to share the screen space with stars like Wiz Khalifa and Jonathan Groff in this video. Dressed in white tee and blue jeans, the celebs sing the song of equality and optimistic approach. The video song ‘Sunny’ is just cool and inspiring all at once created Boney M.
Talking about this campaign and the brand ‘GAP’, Priyanka told ET, “Celebrating our differences is being proud of where you come from, but engulfing other people who are different than you into your world. Women need to be given an opportunity to stand on their feet and do the best they can for themselves.” Also, director of this project, Edward Enniful said, ” This project is about authenticity and people living their truths.”
