R. Madhavan Shares Sweet Anecdote From Dhurandhar

During an interview, R. Madhavan revealed how Aditya remained completely unaffected when the shots of the movie faced floods, rain delays, and demanding sequences.

The actor recalled that after one of his scenes, the audience on set unexpectedly broke into applause, even though it wasn’t a typical high-voltage moment. Jokingly, Madhavan asked Dhar if he had instructed them to clap.

According to him, the director was simply seated, eyes fixed on the monitor, casually playing Candy Crush. “He was so calm,” Madhavan remarked, admitting that he was almost envious of that level of composure.

He said, “He was just sitting there on the chair, looking at the monitor and playing Candy Crush. I assumed either he was supremely confident about his film, so unbothered and calm, or he didn’t know the challenges in front of him. I was so jealous of him.”

He said, “The fearlessness of the man, the uniqueness of his storytelling, and his ability to commit to making this film like a monk, without being hassled at all, truly stood out. We were delayed due to floods, rain, and everything else, and I was expecting Aditya to be at least a little hassled, if not agitated.”
