Waking up to a fresh, chirpy and robust spirit that would surely smash the patriarchy on Sunday morning, the world celebrated International Women’s Day 2020 and Bollywood divas Anushka Sharma, Katrina Kaif, Alia Bhatt, Janhvi Kapoor, Ananya Panday, Kriti Sanon, Kiara Advani and Radhika Madan were seen coming together for the same. Using the platform of Homi Adajania’s upcoming film, Angrezi Medium, the divas sent out love for the movie selflessly. Taking to her Instagram handle, Radhika shared the video featuring them talking behind the scenes of Kudi Nu Nachne De song and narrate how a girl can create “magic” and work “wonders” if she is not confined within norms. Recording selfie videos out in the sun, while Alia was seen flirting with an autorickshaw driver, Janhvi was seen striking sensuous poses while Ananya was seen cleaning her teeth with her finger as the camera rolled and likewise. Carefree and footloose, the divas were seen letting down their hair for once and celebrating the spirit of being themselves unapologetically.



Produced by Dinesh Vijan and Jyoti Deshpande, Angrezi Medium is a sequel to the widely appreciated 2017 entertainer Hindi Medium. The film features Irrfan Khan, Radhika Madan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ranvir Shorey, Ranvir Shorey, Kiku Sharda, Pankaj Tripathi and Dimple Kapadia.

Radhika will be essaying the role of Irrfan’s teenage daughter named Tarika in Angrezi Medium who wants to study abroad. In an interview with Mumbai Mirror, Radhika shared she began her readings with Irrfan much before the shoot kick-started and the first time she met him, she called him ‘papa.’

Radhika was quoted saying, “His performances in Maqbool and Paan Singh Tomar are my favourites. We met a couple of times for readings before shooting began. The first thing I said to him was, ‘Hello pappa’. He is extremely sweet, warm and endearing.” Angrezi Medium is slated to hit the cinema screens on March 20, 2020.
