The much awaited video of the song Laila Main Laila from Raees will release tomorrow, December 21, 2017. With what we have already seen from the teaser of the song, it sure seems to be a number that will set temperatures soaring. Shah Rukh Khan and Sunny Leone fans are eagerly waiting to witness their chemistry in this reprised number from the yesteryear film Qurbaani. However, here’s a dampener. You might not get to see a lot of Shah Rukh Khan and Sunny Leone together in Laila Main Laila.
Talking exclusively to India.com about what we can expect to see in the song Laila Main Laila from Raees, ace Bollywood choreographer Bosco Martis revealed, “It is a club song and has a very retro feel to it. We didn’t give it a new, modern look. So right from the set to the dance steps, everything will remind you of the magical 80s.” Bosco also shared that apart from some sexy dance moves from Sunny Leone, we will also get to see some awe-inspiring action in the song. “Like I said, it is a club song where a dance performance is going on with Sunny Leone dancing to the track. You’ll then see Shah Rukh Khan walking in, in the perfect gangster swag,” he revealed further.
And what about Sunny Leone and Shah Rukh Khan’s chemistry? His revelation broke our heart! Bosco disclosed, “You won’t see Shah Rukh Khan and Sunny Leone dancing together in Laila Main Laila. They will only share a very brief moment in the track. It is not really a ‘song’ song and has more action than dance! So you won’t be able to see any chemistry between the two actors,” he said. Damn! looks like we will have to wait some more till we see Shah Rukh Khan and Sunny Leone groove together or witness their onscreen chemistry. While we are hoping to see Sunny Leone beyond just the Laila Main Laila song in Raees, Bosco’s revelation about the song reminds us of the Parda Parda song from Once Upon A Time in Mumbai. That again was a club song where the item girl Gauahar Khan didn’t shake a leg but shared moments with Ajay Devgn and Emraan Hashmi. (ALSO READ: What? The song again had a retro feel to it and was a reprised version of the yesteryear hit Duniya Mein Logon Ko. Comparisons are being made between Hrithik Roshan’s Kaabil and Shah Rukh Khan’s Raees – since both have a reprised version of two popular old numbers and both films are releasing on the same day, January 25, 2017. But with this new information about Sunny Leone’s song Laila Main Laila, we hope that Raees doesn’t end up bearing a stark similarity with Once Upon a Time in Mumbai. Stay tuned for more updates!
