Written by Ritesh Shah and helmed by Raj Kumar Gupta, the film, that also stars Saurabh Shukla in a pivotal role, is inspired by the real-life I-T raids that were conducted by the officers of the Indian Revenue Service in the 1980s. The film is bankrolled by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Kumar Mangat Pathak and Abhishek Pathak, while the music for the film is scored by Amit Trivedi, Tanishk Bagchi. Bollywood Life’s film critic Ankita Chaurasia had mentioned in her review, “Raid keeps you riveted throughout.
