Raid Box Office Collection Day 7: Ajay Devgn – Ileana D’Cruz’s Film Rakes In Rs 63.05 Crore

Raj Kumar Gupta’s film period crime thriller has turned out to be the fourth-highest grosser of the year.

After enjoying a great weekend, Ajay Devgn‘s latest outing has managed to remain rock-steady in the weekdays at the ticket window. Raj Kumar Gupta’s film period crime thriller Raid, which also stars Ileana D’Cruz and Saurabh Shukla in lead roles, has turned out to be the fourth-highest grosser of the year after Ranveer Singh-Deepika Padukone’s Padmaavat, Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety and Akshay Kumar starrer Pad Man. Ajay Devgn’s latest outing has raked in Rs 63.05 crore.

According to Film Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh, Ajay Devgn’s film managed to earn Rs 4.66 crore on Wednesday, thus, taking its total collection to Rs 63.05 crore in just seven days. Earlier today, Taran Adarsh took to his micro-blogging site to share the official collection of the film. Written by Ritesh Shah and helmed by Raj Kumar Gupta, the film is inspired by the real-life I-T raids that were conducted by the officers of the Indian Revenue Service in the 1980s. The film is bankrolled by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Kumar Mangat Pathak and Abhishek Pathak, while the music for the film is scored by Amit Trivedi, Tanishk Bagchi.
