Raj Thackeray lifts ban on Ae Dil Hai Mushkil release: Twitterati slam the politician for taking U-Turn!

Looks like Karan Johar and the whole of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil can finally heave a sigh of relief since Raj Thackrey has lifted the ban from the most debated film of the year. Following the Uri attacks, politicians of MNS (Maharashtra Navnirmaan Sena) created a huge hullabaloo over the Pakistani artists working in India. They not only asked them to leave India within 48 hours but also issued a ban on them working in the country hence forth. The ban also impacted a few films that had rolled in Pakistani actors are were prepping for release. And one such movie was Karan Johar’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, which star Pakistani heartthrob Fawad Khan in a special role. The Political party had threatened the film’s release and made it clear that they would cause damage to the theatres that will screen this move.

Karan Johar maintained silence hoping for the matter to die down with time but that didn’t happen. After noticing that the matter has taken an ugly course and his directorial can be landed in a huge mess he decided to approach Home Minister Rajnath Singh for solution. The minister stood by KJo’s side and said that he would do everything to help him release the film safely. So today, along with Mukesh Bhatt (President of Producers’ Guild Association) Karan Johar met Chief Minister of Maharashtra Devendra Fadnavis. MNS chief, Raj Thackeray was also present at the meeting where they cordially decided to lift the ban over Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’s release. But, the social media is seemingly not happy with the way the problem was sorted out.
