Rajkummar Rao is on cloud nine ever since his last film ‘Newton’ made its entry to the Oscars and nothing more than that could make him happier. Now it’s not just that, there is another reason why this brilliant actor is jumping with joy. Rajkummar will next be seen in Atul Manjrekar’s film ‘Fanney Khan’ which is touted to be a musical comedy film. Rajkummar took to Twitter to share his excitement about working with veteran actor Anil Kapoor.

Rajkummar Rao who just can’t contain his excitement shared a picture of the film’s clapboard and captioned it saying, “Day 1 on the sets of #FanneyKhan with wonderful @AnilKapoor sir. Brilliant energy on set.” Earlier in an interview with a leading entertainment portal about the film Rajkummar had said, “I am very excited. I can’t wait to begin.” Take a look at the picture below:

Rajkummar Rao will be romancing Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in the film. And guess what, her first seen would be with Rajkummar. Recently at an event when the Bachchan bahu was asked about ‘Fanney Khan’ without divulging much details she said, “Good luck to the entire team of ‘Fanney Khan’. I am looking forward to joining the team and enjoying the process of filmmaking. ‘Fanney Khan’ is an official remake of the Oscar nominated Dutch film ‘Everybody’s Famous!’ that released in the year 2000. The movie is expected to hit the silver screens in April next year. For more updates, keep watching this space.
