An overweight TV heartthrob? But that’s what Ram Kapoor is! Born on September 1, 1973, Ram Kapoor turned 42 today. The TV and film actor was at one time a hunk with a decent physique. But it is while playing obese, middle-aged men that he managed to win over hearts of viewers – first as Jai Walia in Kasamh Se, and later as his namesake Ram Kapoor in Bade Acche Lagte Hain. He acted in several TV shows and movies in between, and was last seen in Dil Ki Baatein Dil Hi Jaane – a show that concluded on August 28.
On his birthday, we share some of his cutest pictures with his family from their recent travails to Dubai and Canada! Ram is married to his co-star Gautami Kapoor aka Gautami Gadgil, and the couple has two kids together.
