Are Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt dating or are they not? Are they just co-stars on the sets of Ayan Mukherjee’s Brahmastra or is there more brewing between them? These are questions that are giving Ranbir-Alia fans sleepless nights. However, a recent tweet from RK’s father Rishi Kapoor has kind of given Twitterati the answer they had been looking for. The senior actor tweeted about his professional relationship with the Bhatts and the sudden, irrelevant nature of the post had everyone confused at first.

In his tweet, Rishi said, “Have worked with most of the talented Bhatt family(and relatives). Mahesh Bhatt,Mukesh Bhatt,Robin Bhatt,Purnima ji, Soni Bhatt, Pooja Bhatt, Emraan Hashmi, Alia Bhatt. Thank you all!” (sic). While many wondered about this out of the blue tweet about the Bhatts, fans following the veteran actor and those who are hardcore Ranbir-Alia fans have now concluded that this has just confirmed the young couple’s relationship and how the cordial, professional equation between the Kapoors and the Bhatts is all set to get personal. The reactions to the 102 Not Out actor’s tweet have ranged from ‘Why would you want us to know this’ to ‘So now you are confirming that you are ready to see Alia Bhatt as Alia Kapoor?’.

Interestingly, when Ranbir and Alia were shooting for Brahmastra in Sofia, Bulgaria, Rishi and Neetu Kapoor had made a trip there and it coincided with Alia’s 25th birthday. There were also pictures of Ranbir’s mommy Neetu present at the cake cutting and after party with Alia and her gang of girls, which only sparked rumours that the Raazi actress has an approval from RK’s parents. However, Alia has chosen not to accept or deny anything regarding her equation with her co-star.
