Ranbir Kapoor And Deepika Padukone’s Dating History Details Goes Viral

Deepika Padukone reveals the exact date since she and Ranbir Kapoor started dating.

Even if Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone are not dating anymore, they are still B-town’s favourite pair. Many hearts were broken when Ranbir and Deepika parted ways. But no matter what, they’ve been friends even after that. Ranbir and Deepika moved on, but whenever they come together, people still talk about their relationship. Right now an old interview of Ranbir and Deepika is going viral, their confession of how they met and fell in love. The social media buffs are going bonkers of this old interview.

As per a report carried in Rediff in the interview to People magazine, Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor confessed how it all started. Talking about the first date the leggy lass said, “This goes back to when we were shooting for our respective debut films (‘Om Shanti Om’ and ‘Saawariya’) and we had just heard about each other. We had common makeup artists – Bharat and Dorris. Dorris is really fond of us, and she told me that he (Ranbir) is a really sweet guy and we should meet up. Dorris had once called him when she was with me. She said: “Why don’t you guys talk?” That’s when we first spoke and exchanged numbers. A few days later, almost around the same time (July 2007), he asked me out for lunch. He came and picked me up and we went to Celini at Grand Hyatt (Mumbai) for lunch.

Deepika Padukone continued saying, “It was meant to be only lunch; but lunch became coffee; coffee became cheesecake; and cheesecake became movie.” The amazing part was when Deepika mentioned the exact date of when they started seeing each other. She said, “We started seeing each other on February 23, (2008).” Though Deepika didn’t Ranbir Kapoor clearly remembered what his then ladylove had worn on their first date. He said, “I clearly remember she was wearing a white ganji and white linen pants. She had her hair tied up in a bun.”

There are so many other things that this couple revealed back then when they were seeing each other. On the work front, Ranbir Kapoor is busy with Rajkumar Hirani’s project Dutt biopic which is yet to be titled. Meanwhile, Deepika Padukone is busy with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus ‘Padmavati’.
