Ranbir Kapoor at father Rishi Kapoor’s biography launch is melting our hearts

He obliged fans there with selfies and was rooting for his dad. How cute is that!

We all know how Rishi Kapoor doesn’t share the best of relations with son Ranbir Kapoor. And Rishi Kapoor is known to speak his heart out. Rishi Kapoor has told us time and again how he and Ranbir share just a formal relationship and it’s to late to mend things between the two. But the two have always been cordial at social gatherings. While Rishi Kapoor had already launched his biography titled ‘Khullam Khulla- Rishi Kapoor Uncensored’ on January 17, the veteran actor re-launched the book in Mumbai on March 17.

And present at the event was son Ranbir Kapoor, who graced the event by his presence. Ranbir was not there at the previous launch event in January, but he made up for his absence this time. He looked dapper in a chequered jacket and a white shirt, teamed with a black trouser. It goes without saying that Ranbir was the star attraction of the event. He obliged fans there with selfies and was rooting for his dad. How cute is that!

Rishi Kapoor earlier at several events and interviews had told us about his equation with his son. He had said in an interview to Mumbai Mirror earlier, “My father gave me space when I moved out after marriage and I gave Ranbir his space too when he decided to move out and share a home with his girlfriend. In this house, he had one room: how could that be enough for a 33-year-old boy? He’s a great son, he listens to me but I don’t interfere in his career because my career is mine and his is his. I know I’ve screwed up my relationship with Ranbir even though my wife kept telling me about what I was doing. It’s now too late to change it; both of us will not be able to adjust to the change. It’s like there’s this glass wall, we can see each other, we can talk, but that’s it.” The father also expressed how he was looking forward to have Ranbir move back with them. He said, “Ranbir doesn’t live with us anymore, which is also a very big setback to Neetu and me. We’re building a new home where there will be a lot of place for him and his family. Till then, life goes on.”

We guess all is well between the two now, and we hope it stays that way!
