We loved Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone when they were a couple and gave us all PDA goals and we loved them equally when they broke up and yet were cordial and professional enough to come together to do films. But Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, Tamasha seem like from a different lifetime. It’s been too long for us to have seen Ranbir Deepika together. Yes, they will be walking for Manish Malhotra – Shabana Azmi’s Mijwaan show early next month but before that, here’s a treat no fan can miss.
The two actors came together for an event Galaxy Of Stars by Asian Paints, hosted by Karan Johar. Were they a riot or what? The two gave the most quirky answers to questions thrown at them by the scandalously quiz master KJo and also shook up a storm on songs like Lungi Dance, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, Balam Pichkari, Matargashti and more. You have to see the videos to remind you once again how good Ranbir and Deepika look together and to realise how eagerly you want to see them do a movie together.

On the professional front, Ranbir is currently busy with Brashmastra and has the Sanjay Dutt biopic ready for release. Deepika was slated to get on the sets of Vishal Bhardwaj’s Rani- a biopic on mafia queen Sapna Didi but the film is now postponed due to Irrfan Khan’s health. Even she was nursing a back problem and you can still see her being a little stiff and uncomfortable while dancing in the above videos with Ranbir. She hasn’t signed any other film as yet and there are reports that she might look West for a Hollywood project.
