Rani Mukerji reveals her second baby plans on Mother's Day

It is the shaadi and baby season in Bollywood. While Sonam Kapoor – Anand Ahuja, Neha Dhupia – Angad Bedi, Himesh Reshammiya – Sonia Kapur got hitched this month, there is Shahid Kapoor – Mira Rajput, Neil Nitin Mukesh – Rukmini Sahay who are are awaiting the arrival of their second baby. And today on Mother’s Day, Hitchki actress Rani Mukerji, who is a mommy to a beautiful daughter Adira Chopra, has revealed her plans for a second child. Talking to a news daily, the actress, who got back to work recently post her marriage and motherhood break, revealed that husband Aditya Chopra and she have plans for another baby.

Talking to DNA, the actress said, “Right now, I am just happy with the production of babies (smiles). Of course, there is a plan to have another child. Adira needs to have company.” But that doesn’t mean she will go on hiatus again. Rani is passionate about films, but her daughter comes first now. She revealed that she is ready to work in more films but conditions apply.

“Now, when I do a film, it has to be in accordance with Adira’s schedule. I want to be part of every milestone in Adira’s life and ensure I don’t miss any of it. These are moments that will never come back and I’ll cherish them forever.” So if there is a filmmaker who has a good story and is willing to adjust the shoots keeping in mind these factors, Rani will happily give it a nod.

Adira is too young to understand that her mother is an actress and to know the demands of her job. But when she saw the promos of Hitchki on TV, she got excited and started screaming ‘Mumma’. We are sure it must have been a moment filled with elation for the actress as well as the mother in her.
