Anushka Sharma revealed the teaser of her much awaited Holi release – Pari this afternoon, spooking fans and leaving them waiting for March 2, when the film will hit screens. She is playing a woman who is possessed and the actress has gone all out to look as gory and ghostly as possible to ensure that audience get a hair raising experience when they come into the theatres. The psychological horror might just change the way Bollywood treats the horror genre. Fans and media is impressed and good word has been flowing in for the film since the Pari teaser released.

But it was Ranveer Singh’s epic reaction to the Pari teaser that summed what all of us have been feeling after witnessing what is in store for us. The actor, who has been riding high on the success of Padmaavat, commented on the link where Anushka shared the teaser and said, “Arre BAAAAAAP Re”. Now, don’t we relate to that reaction? Anushka has totally shocked us with this bold attempt and we cannot wait anymore to see the trailer and finally the film and we are sure RS has been left awed as well. At a time when he has been receiving accolades for playing a negative character with such great intensity in Padmaavat, his first ever co-star Anushka is attempting something which hasn’t been done by an A-list actress before. In an industry where looks are so important and women on screen are supposed to look flawless, she has dared to look unkempt and scary. So Ranveer’s reaction is totally understandable.

For the uninitiated, Anushka was Ranveer’s first ever co-star when he made his Bollywood debut with Band Baajaa Baaraat (2010). In fact, he had also confessed in an interview back then that he was extremely nervous about pairing up with Anushka, who had already made her debut with Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi (2008) with Shah Rukh Khan and had entered the big league with her very first film. The two later paired up for Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl as well. While they haven’t worked in films together ever since, they have remained friends.
