Ranveer Singh’s Transformation Between Padmaavat And Gully Boy Is Mindboggling
That's Ranveer for you.
The lengths actors have to go to get into the skin of their character can be astounding. Well, it is part and parcel of the profession, and Padmaavat star Ranveer Singh sure knows that. The actor is in a great phase in his career and he’s going through all shapes and sizes to fit his character well for the film.
The actor recently posted on his Instagram handle a picture which shows his transition from Alauddin Khilji to his rapper boy character, and it is mindboggling indeed. From a hunk to skinny, one can learn to do it from Ranveer Singh. Check out his pic below. ALSO READ: Sanjay Leela Bhansali: We Requested Akshay Kumar To Move The Release Date Of PadMan For Padmaavat
Talking about Khilji earlier, the actor had shared how taxing it was to play the role. “I was the first to start the shoot in November in 2016 and I was the last to finish towards the end of last year. It required a lot of energy and took a lot out of me. Let’s put it this way: it really affected me.” I was very consumed with the character, as I was shooting for 12-14 hours every day, especially as this was a character that is very far from who I am [in real life]. The character definitely took me deep and it will take me some time to cleanse it from my system.I shot the film for a full year, and I have to admit that living with Alauddin Khilji for that long wasn’t easy. That’s why it then became a sort of a process to shed the character.”
