In a new announcement made by KJo on social media, he has reversed the release dates of Angrezi Medium and Kargil Girl. While Dinesh’s Angrezi Medium was earlier slated for release on March 20, it’s now coming a week earlier – on March 13, which was the scheduled date for the release of the Janhvi Kapoor starrer. The Gunjan Saxena biopic, which is backed by Karan’s Dharma Productions, has taken over the release date of Roohi Afza. The film is now coming on April 24. Interestingly, Roohi Afza also features Janhvi Kapoor and is backed by Dinesh’s Maddock Films. KJo announced the development with a tweet that read, “Friendships in the fraternity are rare but when they exist …they are empowering! Dinoo and I have have made an exchange of dates! The trailer of Angrezi Medium recently released to a thunderous response from the audience. The film stars Irrfan Khan in the main role with Kareena Kapoor Khan joining the cast in a brief appearance. Radhika Madan plays the role of Irrfan’s grown-up daughter while Dimple Kapadia, Deepak Dobriyal and Kiku Sharda also play important characters. The film is the sequel to Hindi Medium that received an overwhelming response from the audience upon its release in 2017.



Meanwhile, Janhvi’s Kargil Girl is a biopic on India’s first woman combat aviator to reach the war zone of Kargil in the year 1999. The film features Pankaj Tripathi in the role of Gunjan’s father. The posters of the film featuring Janhvi wearing the uniform were recently released to wide appreciation from the audience.
