Revealed: Details Of Janhvi Kapoor And Ishaan Khatter's Version Of Zingaat In Dhadak

Zingaat from Sairat became a sensation when it released almost two years ago. When we first heard that Karan Johar is remaking the hit Marathi film, we were really keen on knowing if Zingaat would be a part of Dhadak which stars Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter in lead roles. And now we can confirm that Zingaat will be very much a part of Shashank Khaitan’s directorial. DNA has confirmed that the song is going to be a part of the Sairat remake since the makers are aware of the popularity of Zingaat which is why they decided to retain it. A source told the daily, “Karan and Shashank were both on the same page. They love Zingaat and the song will be something to watch out for.” (ALSO READ: Sara Ali Khan – Janhvi Kapoor: Have The Friends Turned Foes? Exclusive )

Talking about the Hindi version of the song, the source further added, “While the tune remains the same, the lyrics will be altered. The title — Zingaat — may change as they may come up with another catchy phrase.” The much-loved dance number will be choreographed by none other than Farah Khan. Though Farah had decided not to choreograph for other films, when Karan reached out to her, she couldn’t say no to her filmmaker friend. Khan is all set to add signature moves to the Hindi version of Zingaat. While talking about the choreography, the source told DNA, “Unlike the original, where the song was a freestyle dance number, Farah will choreograph some signature moves for the Hindi version. Ishaan and Janhvi are terrific dancers so it will be great to see them groove together.” (ALSO READ: Dhadak New Poster: Ishaan Khatter, Janhvi Kapoor’s Film Gets New Release Date )
