The shooting of Salman Khan and Anushka Sharma’s first film together, Sultan, is on in full swing. After the first look, the makers Yash Raj Films (YRF) have released a new look of Salman and Anushka in the movie on Valentine’s Day, February 14. The two stars who play wrestlers in Sultan are seen in track suits in the new photo, like true sportsmen. Salman has done away with his moustache in this poster, while Anushka looks simple with her hair tied in a braid. We like that she is carrying a flower in one hand.
In the new photo from Sultan, Salman and Anushka are posing together in a typical akhada or wrestling den, with the following words in Hindi painted on the wall behind them, “Uunch neech ki uljhan mein pad kar, manushya insaaniyat kho baithta hai“. It means something like this: In the battle for supremacy, human beings are forgetting how to be humane. Catch the full picture here!
Well, we don’t know how important these lines are for Sultan but they do add authenticity to the surroundings. YRF in its statement with the new Sultan movie still used this punchline: “Haryana Ka Sher Aur Haryana Ki Shaan Ka Ghanaa Ishq Hai Takkar Ka! This Valentine’s Day, Celebrate The Love of Equals.” It means that the two wrestlers from Haryana, played by Salman and Anushka, are deeply in love, while emphasising the ‘love of equals’. We like!
On January 8, 2016, YRF confirmed Anushka Sharma’s pairing with Salman Khan in Sultan and the two began shooting for the Ali Abbas Zafar film soon after. Anushka has been training in wrestling for Sultan, as revealed two days ago in a video. Sultan is all set to release on Eid 2016 and we can’t wait for it!
Anushka has been sharing pictures on social media from the sets of Sultan and her make up room, but she has been more in the news for her alleged break-up with her handsome cricketer boyfriend Virat Kohli. Hope this picture from Sultan sets things right that Anushka is now under Salman’s wing!
