Jagga Jasoos actor Ranbir Kapoor celebrates his birthday tonight at his Pali Hill apartment. The actor will turn 35 (September 28) this birthday. While Ranbir had a working birthday last year, as he celebrated it on the sets of Anurag Basu’s Jagga Jasoos, this time the actor is not shooting so as to be able to celebrate the occasion with his family and close friends. In fact, Ranbir is planning all the arrangements for tonight’s party with his director friend Ayan Mukerji (director of Dragon that stars Ranbir Kapoor).
Don’t you want to know who all are attending Ranbir’s birthday tonight? In a statement to an entertainment online portal, a source has not only revealed the guest lists but also how has Ranbir planned to celebrate his 35th birthday. The source told, “The birthday bash will most probably be held at his Pali Hill apartment which has been designed tastefully by Gauri Khan and in which he has been living in for almost a year. Ayan is planning the party and the guests will include all those who are part of the gang including Varun Dhawan, Arjun Kapoor, Anirban Blah, Aditya Roy Kapur, Ayan Mukerji, Arti Shetty and Karan Johar. As Ranbir is very close to Sanjay Dutt and his wife Maanayata Dutt and Shah Rukh Khan and his wife Gauri Khan and his cousins Karisma Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan, they are also invited with their respected partners.”
Reportedly, director Anurag Basu, Ranbir’s Dutt biopic director, Raj Kumar Hirani and Vidhu Vinod Chopra are also expected to attend. The source further added, “Ranbir loves chocolate cakes so if Ayan gets his favourite chocolate cake, Ranbir will cut it. The actor had purchased the swanky apartment for a whopping INR 35 crore after he shifted out from the apartment, he was staying in with Katrina Kaif. And because he’s not shooting today, Ranbir will be bringing it in there. He loves the jungli mutton and paya made at his grandmother (daadi) Krishna Raj Kapoor’s home so she will have some specially made for him and sent over.”
Last year, Ranbir had celebrated his birthday on the sets of Jagga Jasoos. He had cut his favourite chocolate cake, which team had ordered. The cake was a custom-made football cake, which was incorporated with the FC Barcelona’s (Ranbir’s favorite football team) colours. Watch this space for more updates.
