Richa Chadha delivers a very important message for India’s Women’s Cricket team!
Check out Richa Chadha's video message here.
Two weeks ago what seemed like a national holiday was the Champions Trophy finale between India and Pakistan, leading to much disappointment with India losing the match. But one wins some and loses some! Cricket is a religion in our country but never does it ever make headlines when our very own women’s team makes new records too. Just last week Mithali Raj made a new world record in Women’s Cricket in the ongoing Women’s Cricket World Cup by scoring 50 against England which was her 7th consecutive.
Richa Chadha wrote on Instagram, “Come on! Show your support for team India !!! Sorry my home is by the sea, extremely windy… #iwokeuplikethis #womensworldcup come on! @bcciwomen #girlpower #womensports #sportswomanspirit #cricket #sport”. Now Richa Chadha who’s always been vocal about her opinion took to social media to make everyone realise our women’s team and women’s sports too needs the same amount of attention! The Indian Womens Team will be playing against Pakistan tomorrow in England itself and it definitely should draw up as much attention. They too deserve an equal amount of cheer and support as we extend to the men’s team.
