After a neck-to-neck competition yesterday, on Colors Rising Star- Duels Ki Takkar, tonight in the last eight fight for a place in final 16. Watch as the contestants like Ankita and Sheuli compete to reach closer to their dream. On one hand, where Ankita has done playback singing in the Bolloywood and has mesmerizing voice, Sheuli is no less. Sheuli is a great performer and has enthralled the audience earlier with her captivating performance.
Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan come on the show to promote their latest release ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhaniya’ and also to entertain audience. Alia performs a song for the audience and the experts that the viewers have chosen after voting. Apart from that, the anchors Chang and Raghav also delight audience. Will this episode also see a tie like yesterday?
In the previous episode, Bannat Dosanjh and Sukhdeep score a tie at 92 per cent. Even as all the three experts and the studio audience wanted both of them to go ahead for the final 16, the concept of show didn’t allow for that and after the final counting in decimals, Bannet gets ahead with 0.05 per cent votes. The show saw its first ever tie and the results, clearly, did not amuse Diljit Dosanjh. Diljit was pretty upset even as Monali and Shankar Mahadev sang during the closing of the show, Diljit refused to join them. The other contestants who were pitched against each other were Maithili and Sayani, both trained classical singers and the judges confessed that their loss would be a loss to the show. Shankar Mahadevan told Sayani, who lost to Maithili, that he would like to record a song with her. Among, Shreyasi and Ayesha-Abhipsha, Shreyasi clears the round with 84 per cent votes as against Ayesha-Abhipsha’s 72 per cent. Also, Ankita and Deblina both charmed audiences with their beautiful renditions but Ankita gets through to final 16 with a margin of 2 per cent votes.
