After yesterday’s exciting and high-on-energy episode of Duels Ki Takkar, more contestants and groups are lined up for tonight’s ‘takkar’ or competition. Ramesh and Shraddha, Ragdeep group, Nitin, Ishrat, Afsana, Nisha and more, who would reach the top 16. After yesterday’s episode, Ameya, Vikramjeet, Chelsi and Diljot Qawwali group have made it to the top 16 after a tough fight. The rules of the Duels Ki Takkar are quite simple. Among the two opponents, the first one would sing and get certain percentage of votes, for the second contestants the wall would not rise until they are able to cross the target set by the first contestant.
Ameya was pitched against Piyush, who got nervous and missed his beats and could only score a 52 per cent. Ameya was feeling bad for Piyush. He floored the experts with his performance and scored a 92 per cent! Next up were Vikramjeet and Dharmendra. Dharmaendra set a difficult target of 86 per cent for Vikramjeet but Vikramjeet easily crossed the mark and his voting meter ended at 96 per cent! Then, Vikram Labandiya group tried their hand at a medley of Hindi and Gujarati bhajans, and their bhajans get them 71 per cent votes. Diljot Qawwali group’s children sang ‘Tumse Milke Dil Ka Hai Jo Haal’ and Mika Singh’s ‘Sawan Mein Lag Gayi Aag’, and the audience was getting crazy! Their high-energy performance gave them 90 per cent votes and a non-stop applause! Last two contestants were best friends Lovleen and Chelsi. Chelsi attempted Sunita Rao’s ‘Pari Hu Main’ and WOW! she sang fabulously. She got 87 per cent votes whereas Loveleen only received 75 per cent, which could not raise the wall. In tonight’s episode, Shraddha and Ramesh are pitched against the Ragdeep group. The others are Nitin and Ishrat, Afsana, Nisha and compete to get into the final 16. All the contestants are confident of their talent and their victory. But as all o them are brilliant at their art of singing, it is really difficult for the experts as well as the audience to choose one of their two favourites, who would be pitched against each other in the Duels Ki Takkar.
