Bollywood actor Riteish Deshmukh penned an emotional note on his father Vilasrao Deshmukh’s sixth death anniversary earlier today. Vilasrao was the former Maharashtra Chief Minister who passed away on 14 August 2012 due to multiple organ failure. Riteish took to his Instagram to share a picture with his father and captioned it, “I look up at the sky and I talk to you….‬ What I wouldn’t give to hear you talk back.‬ ‪It’s been 6 years….. ‬ ‪There is one thing that changed when you left…‬ ‪Everything!!!‬ ‪Miss you PAPPA !!!!”. Riteish is a successful Bollywood actor and a father of two. He made his acting debut with the Marathi film Lai Bhaari which was one of the highest grossing Marathi film. The actor has also produced a Marathi film titled Balak Palak which was a Box Office hit. The actor will soon be seen in his upcoming Marathi venture Mauli. The film is written by Kshitij Patwardhan and produced by Genelia D’Souza Deshmukh. Directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, Mauli will releases on December 21, 2018 as announced by the Riteish and his wife Genelia.

Vilasrao Deshmukh started his political journey in 1974 as a ‘Sarpanch’ of Babhalgaon village panchayat. He graduated from ILS Law College, Pune. He became Maharashtra’s chief minister for the first time in the year in October 1999. He was diagnosed with liver and kidney failure in August 2012 and his cremation took place at his village Babhalgaon on Independence day 2012.
