On the occasion of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj‘s of the birth anniversary, Marathi epic Sairat director Nagraj Manjule announced that he will be bringing a trilogy on the mighty Chhatrapati starring Riteish Deshmukh. The actor took to Twitter to announce the project. Manjule also took to Twitter to announce the trilogy in which he will be joining hands with music composer duo Ajay-Atul. “एखाद्या स्वप्नाच्या उंबरठ्यावर उभं राहणं म्हणजे हेच असावं कदाचित…आज शिवरायांच्या जन्मदिनाच्या निमित्ताने हे सांगायला लय आनंद वाटतोय की रितेश देशमुख, अजय-अतुल यांच्या सोबतीने घेऊन येतोय शिवत्रयी… (Trilogy) शिवाजी राजा शिवाजी छत्रपती शिवाजी शिवरायांच्या जन्मदिनाच्या खूप साऱ्या सदिच्छा 🙏🌹 जय शिवराय !!!”, wrote the director. “This will be like standing on the threshold of a dream, today on the occasion of Shivaji Maharaj’s birthday. It is a matter of great happiness to tell that we are bringing Riteish Deshmukh along with Ajay Atul for a trilogy of Chhatrapati Shivaji,” tweeted Manjule in Marathi.
