Roja actress Madhoo to essay a magnificient role in Aarambh

Star Plus is all set to release its new weekend series Aarambh. After signing actor Rajneesh Duggal and former model, Anuja and southern starlet Karthika Nair, the makers of the show have now got the gorgeous Roja actress Madhoo on board.

Madhoo, the Indian actress who rose to fame with Mani Ratnam’s film has come a long way. She has created magic in movies like ‘Phool Aur Kaante’, ‘Yeshwant’, ‘Diljale’, among others, with her acting prowess, is now making a comeback on the small screen. She was an instant magic before the camera making her presence felt in Bollywood in a very short span and it would be awesome watching her in Aarambh, an action drama.

This new upcoming show is a historical fantasy. It would be interesting to witness the epic war between the Aryans and the Dravidians in Aarambh. A source told Telly Chakkar, “Madhoo will be a part of the Dravidan clan that followed the principles of a matriarchal society. Her character will be a strong queen who would cross all boundaries to protect her kingdom and people. She will also be seen enacting some action scenes.”

The show, Aarambh, also stars Tej Sapru, Vipul Gupta, Tarun Khanna and Haanssa Singh. This finite series will be produced by Rose Audio Visuals and directed by acclaimed filmmaker Goldie Behl.
