Bollywood has seen its set of cliche movies over the years. But if you are to compare this sports film by Chak De India, Mary Kom, Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, this Madhavan and Ritika Singh starrer will surprise you, of course only at certain places, but it does. Here the boxing coach is furious like a lion and trains an equally or more indigant student. Every shout of his during the pratice session is returned with an equally roaring scream.
Starring R Madhavan and Ritika Singh in lead roles, Saala Khadoos is a sports film. This is the first time when R Madhavan will be seen playing a badass coach who relentlessly pushes his protege played by Ritika Singh to overcome obstacles and achieve her boxing goals.
Rajkumar Hirani Films & Tricolour Films in association with UTV Motion Pictures present Saala Khadoos. The film written and directed by Sudha Kongara is all set to release on January 29, 2016. ALSO READ: Saala Khadoos vs Mastizaade, Raees vs Sultan: Check out the Bollywood movies clashing in 2016!

Plot:
The story of Saala Khadoos starts with introducing Adi Tomar, an angry badass coach who spots a young, average-looking fisherwoman and decides to train her. He believes that Madhi (Ritika) has that spark and zeal to become a national level boxer. Meanwhile Madhi has her own share of problems to deal with. It is during her intense training sessions that she starts falling in love with her khadoos coach. Does that pave way for a romantic love affair between them? Although the director has sprinkled a bit of romance to the sporty duo, the refreshing chemistry tones down the noisy intensity of the movie. You will have to watch the film to see what happens next.
Performance:
Ritika Singh fits very well into the character of a boxer but there are instances which have her showing immense anger which looks rather artificial. The character of Madhi is an inspiration to all those women out there who wish to accomplish their dream and make a successful career in boxing. R Madhavan looks extremely different from how he has previously looked onscreen and we ought to say he looks SO HOT! Madhavan is gloriously too good looking as a coach and his smoking hot features will make any girl go weak in their knees. It is a delight to watch him essay a role so hatke and we would want to see more of him in such avatars.
Songs:
The music album of Saala Khadoos is a mixed bag of peppy, energetic and lovable melodies.
The nail-biting fight sequences will keep you on the edge of your seat. The series of events unfold in such a way that it will keep you hooked. Saala Khadoos also throws light on the age-old issues of bribery, sexism and corruption prevailing in our society which have been one of the top-debated topics in Bollywood.
