Sacred Games First Look : Saif Ali Khan, Radhika Apte And Nawazuddin Siddiqui Leave Us Intrigued For This Web Series

After enthralling the audiences with Mukkabaaz, that starred Vineet Kumar Singh and Zoya Hussain in lead roles, Anurag Kashyap is back with his first web series, titled Sacred Games, featuring Saif Ali Khan, Radhika Apte and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in pivotal roles. The series is based on Vikram Chandra’s novel by the same name. The story is based on the life of an experienced Mumbai police officer, Sartaj Singh (Saif) who gets a tip to capture gangster Ganesh Gaitonde (Siddiqui). The press release read, “As the stakes mount and Sartaj seeks knowledge of his prey, it becomes clear that the game the two players thought they were engaged in is, in fact, part of a much larger scenario, one that expands beyond the city.”

The first looks of each of the character is out—Saif as cop Sartaj Singh, Nawazuddin Siddiqui as gangster Ganesh Gaitonde and Radhika Apte as RAW analyst Anjali Mathur, and we must add, we’re intrigued. The first season will feature 8 episodes, 4 of which have been directed by Kashyap, while the remaining four have been helmed by Vikramaditya Motwane , best known for his films, Lootera and Trapped. The film also features Rajshri Deshpande of Sexy Durga fame in a significant role. Radhika took to her Instagram account to share the first looks of the film. Take a look at them below :
