Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan was brutally stabbed six times in the early hours of January 16, 2025. The actor was rushed to the hospital and is now stable. Amidst this, the first picture of the attacker, who allegedly stabbed the Bollywood star, has emerged. The suspect can be seen staring into the CCTV camera as he attempts to climb down the stairs after committing the gruesome crime. Earlier in the day, Mumbai police had confirmed that the intruder entered Saif’s house through the fire escape stairs.

In the early hours of January 16, Saif was repeatedly stabbed six times by the intruder. The actor resides in a 12th-floor apartment in upscale Bandra. After the incident, the actor was rushed to Mumbai’s Lilavati Hospital, where he underwent surgery. Doctors revealed that the actor sustained a thoracic spinal cord injury.

The actor’s doctors shared, “Saif Ali Khan was admitted to the hospital at 2 am with an alleged history of assault by an unknown person. He sustained a major injury to the thoracic spinal cord due to a lodged knife in the spine. A surgery was performed to remove the knife and repair leaking spinal fluid.”

As per the doctors, the Hum Tum actor also sustained deep wounds on his left hand and neck. “Two other deep wounds on his left hand and one other on his neck were repaired by the plastic surgery team. He is completely stable now. He is recovering well and out of danger,” Dr. Nitin added.

Saif Ali Khan’s domestic help was the first to raise the alarm when the intruder entered the apartment. She also suffered a minor injury to her hand during the altercation. A confrontation broke out between Khan and the intruder when Khan emerged after hearing the woman’s cries for help.

According to a preliminary probe, the intruder demanded a ransom of Rs 1 crore. Seven teams have now been formed by the Mumbai police to track down the attacker.
