Salim Khan Calls People ‘Jaahil’ Who Has Threatened Salman Khan: ‘Maar Denge Tab Pata Lagega’

Actor Salman Khan’s father and veteran screenwriter Salim Khan spoke about the recent firing incident that happened outside his Mumbai residence. In an interview with India Today, Salim referred to those who threatened his son Salman Khan as “jaahil” (illiterate). He mentioned that Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has provided extra police protection to the entire Khan family. “What’s there to talk about… ye jaahil log jo kehte hain maar denge tab pata lagega na”.

Salim Khan expressed his anger for the individuals who made threats, stating, “What’s there to talk about? These illiterate people say you’ll learn your lesson when we’ll kill you.” He also mentioned that the Mumbai Police have assured them of protection and have arrested two suspects, indicating that they are actively investigating the matter.

Salman Khan to Resume Work

Salim Khan revealed that Salman has been advised to continue with his work schedule as usual. He emphasized that since the issue is under police investigation, they have been advised not to discuss it publicly.

Based on information obtained from the Mumbai Crime Branch, moments before the shooting incident, two suspects parked a motorcycle approximately 100 meters away from Salman Khan’s residence at Galaxy Apartments in Bandra. After noticing the absence of people outside Khan’s house, the shooters rode the bike closer and fired shots from their weapons before quickly fleeing the scene.

The accused Vicky Gupta (24) and Sagar Pal (21) were arrested in Gujarat. They were presented before Mumbai’s Killa court on April 16. The court has granted 10 days custody of the duo to the Mumbai Crime Branch until April 25. Vicky and Sagar were apprehended late Monday night from Mata No Madh village in Gujarat’s Kutch district and subsequently transported to Mumbai. According to the police, Gupta was driving the motorcycle during the incident while Pal, riding pillion, discharged shots at the actor’s house.
