The latest hearing in Salman Khan’s blackbuck case has been finally declared. In the recent development in the case, the Dabangg actor was sentenced for four years and has been refrained from going to UK. Supreme Court has set aside the Rajashthan High Court’s conviction on the Kick actor’s case, which sentenced him for five years of jail term. Since blackbuck is a protected animal, hunting it is a punishable offence. The apex court had also announced that Salman Khan can speak to the High Court if he really needs to travel abroad. The Supreme Court declined relief for Salman Khan in the blackbuck poaching case (1998). In the hearing which was scheduled for today, the apex court said that ‘the law is equal for all.’ The actor had submitted an affidavait on August 27, asking the Apex Court to allow him his basic right to travel across the world as his occupation demands so. However now it seems that trouble is far from over for the megastar.

The witness Shiv Charan Bohra gave his account of the legal procedures carried out after the registration of the case. The case was registered against Salman Khan, Sonali Bendre, Tabu and Neelam for alleged poaching of blackbucks in Kankani village on October 1, 1998. Khan and his co-stars were shooting for a film in Jodhpur at that time.
