Bollywood superstar Salman khan who has been facing frequent death threats openly from gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, recently addressed whether these threats affect him. He stated that he believes in God and will live as long as his destined lifespan allows.

Salman Khan talks about death threats amid Sikandar release

Salman, who is currently busy promoting his big Eid release Sikandar, was seen interacting with a selection of media in Mumbai. While addressing these threats, the actor responded, “Bhagwan, Allah sab unpar hai. Jitni umar likhi hai, utni likhi hai. Bas yahi hai (God and Allah are watching over. Whatever lifespan is written, that’s how long it is. That’s it).”

After several death threats and a firing incident outside his residence in Bandra, Mumbai, the actor’s security has been significantly increased. While expressing his concern over constantly being surrounded by security, Salman said, “Kabhi kabhi itne logon ko saath mein leke chalna padta hai, bas wohi problem ho jaati hail (Sometimes, having to lead so many people together becomes the only problem).”

He revealed that now he travels only between his home and work locations. “I am not worried when I am with the press, but when I am without the press, that cramps my style. Now it’s all about Galaxy (home) to shoot and from shoot to Galaxy (home), nothing else.” the 59-year-old added.

In 2018, during a court appearance in Jodhpur, Lawrence Bishnoi had openly threatened to kill Salman, and said, “We will kill Salman Khan. Everyone will know once we take action. I have not done anything as of now; they are accusing me of crimes for no reason.” The gangster has been wanting to take revenge on the actor for allegedly killing Black Buck during the filming of Hum Saath Saath Hain. The Black Buck is revered by the Bishoni community. Moreover, his brother Anmol had taken the responsibility of the attack that happened at Salman Khan’s residence last year.

Meanwhile, Salman Khan is currently awaiting the release of his mass-actioner Sikandar. Helmed by AR Murugadoss, the film is scheduled for release on March 30, and also stars Kajal Aggarwal and Rashmika Mandanna in key roles.
