On Sunday, after the incident, Sagar Pal and Vicky Gupta fled Mumbai and headed towards Bhuj. On their journey, they changed the SIM card of their mobile phone near Surat to evade detection. Despite frequently turning off their phones to avoid being traced, the police managed to track them down through technical surveillance. Both Sagar Pal and Vicky Gupta were apprehended on Sunday.
