Salman Khan Firing Case: Mumbai Police Find Guns and Cartridges Used by Shooters in Surat’s Tapi River
Salman Khan Firing Case: During the interrogation, the shooters revealed that they disposed of the gun in the Tapi River in Surat after successfully carrying out the incident.
The Mumbai police have been closely working on the Salman Khan firing case. They recently launched a search operation in the Tapi River in Surat to locate the guns that were used by two shooters in a firing incident. According to police officials, they have recovered a firearms along with live cartridges used in the shooting. On Monday, April 22, the Mumbai Crime Branch revealed that the shooters who allegedly fired outside Salman Khan‘s house at the Galaxy Apartment in Bandra were ordered to fire 10 rounds of bullet.
On Tuesday, April 23, the cops recovered from Tapi River. The officials also recovered 3 magazines along with the gun.

During the interrogation by the investigating agency, the bikers revealed that they disposed of the gun in the Tapi River in Surat after successfully carrying out the incident. “The Mumbai crime branch has taken the accused Vicky Gupta with them to the Surat Tapi river, where they had thrown the gun. Police can also add other sections in this case”, said the Mumbai crime branch.
Lawrence Bishnoi’s brother Anmol Bishnoi was found to be in direct contact with shooters Sagar Pal and Vicky Gupta through internet calls. These two individuals were allegedly paid Rs 1 lakh in advance for the shooting, with the promise of an additional Rs 3 lakh upon completion of the task. Their involvement came to light when they activated their phones to communicate with Anmol.
Meanwhile, Surat Police Commissioner Anupam Singh Gehlot also confirmed the Mumbai police’s involvement in Surat to recover the said firearm. The search effort, which included the senior police inspector Daya Nayak, often referred to as the ‘encounter specialist,’ worked alongside local divers and fishermen to comb through the Tapi River waters.
On the professional front, Salman Khan will start the shooting for his upcoming film Sikandar, directed by AR Murugadoss.
