Salman Khan hit-and-run case: More trouble for actor as two more witnesses identify him

Noose seems to be tightening around popular Bollywood actor Salman Khan after two more witness on Monday identified him in the hit and run case trial. Khan is accused in the case pending since September 28 , 2002. Khan is accused in the case in which a Toyota Land Cruiser allegedly driven by the actor slammed into a bakery killing one and injuring four others.

The first witness who is a dairy owner, said that Khan was present when the accident happened and he saw him coming out of the driver side. The second one stated that the actor along with his friends was present at the bar few hours before the accident.

Khan may be announced drunk at the time of the incident  if the statement of the second witness is proved true. Both the witnesses are being cross examined by the actor’s lawyer, Shrikant Shivade.

The matter will be further heard tomorrow on June 24. This is a fresh trial ordered by the court in the case.
