Salman Khan fans may have heaved a sigh of relief when their superstar got bail after spending two night in the Jodhpur Central jail in the black buck poaching case. But the trouble for the star is far from over. The next hearing is on May 7 and that means, the star cannot go out of the country – for work or pleasure – till he doesn’t get a clean chit. Interestingly, his friends and colleagues how have come out in his support are under stress too. The first case that has come to fore is about his Hum Saath Saath Hain co-actor Kunika (Kunickaa) Sadanand who has allegedly received death threats from the Bishnoi community.
The actress was part of a panel discussion on a news channel where she raised her opinion in favour of Salman regarding his conviction in the black buck poaching case, after which she allegedly received the calls. Talking to Times of India, the actress revealed that in the discussion, she had opined that the Bishnoi community should not oppose the bail and also came up with suggestions where as a quantum of punishment, Salman is asked to community work.
She even came up with ideas like ‘help breeding more blackbucks’, ‘adopt a forest’ however, one of the comments where she said something to the effect of calling the Bishnois hunters, didn’t go down well with the community which has been calling her n the phone and sending her Facebook messages.
She further alleges that she even apologised for her comments but when the calls didn’t stop, she had to file a complaint with the police under Section 507. Kunika alleges that her personal details have been leaked on social media. She has been given police protection and the matter is being investigated. The members of the Bishnoi community on the other hand have also filed a complaint against Kunika for hurting their sentiments.
