Samay Raina, who is one of the judges in the dark comedy show India’s Got Latent has been a part of controversy ever since Ranveer Allhabadia’s vulgar remark on the show went viral. A case has been registered on Monday in Guwahati by a resident. Amid the controversy and outrage, Samay’s old clip where he is talking about the Latent show and career, among other things has surfaced online. Also, you will be amazed to know that there is one thing which is common between Aishwarya Rai, Samaya Rain and South’s superstar Allu Arjun.

While this may sound extremely mind-boggling, let us tell you that Samay enjoys a good fan following on the social media Instagram. The comedian has 6.3 million followers. However, he only follows one person that is Rakhi Sawant. Rakhi has also been a part of the show. Interestingly, Allu Arjun and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan also follow 1 person on Instagram, which are their spouses – Sneha Reddy and Abhishek Bachchan respectively.

Meanwhile, coming back to Ranveer Allahbadia’s controversy, then as per the latest update, Mumbai and Guwahati police went looking for the YouTuber residency. However, he was nowhere to be found. The apartment was locked.

According to a police official who spoke to the news agency PTI, Mumbai police had opened an investigation and visited the residence of the YouTuber in the Versova neighbourhood of the city to speak with him.

On Thursday, Ranveer was asked to report to the police station in Mumbai’s Khar to record his statement. However, the YouTuber later requested that the statement should be recorded at the his. To this, the Mumbai police turned down his request.
