As the whole country on Tuesday celebrated the festival of colours ‘Holi’, Bollywood’s chirpy queen Sara Ali Khan too celebrated the festival at Benaras with flowers as she ditches colours. The Pataudi scion took to Instagram to share a video with a friend in which the duo was seen throwing flower petals on each other. Wearing a double shaded long kurta suit set in hues of pink with Jaipuri Juttis, the Love Aaj Kal actor captioned the picture: “Benaras ki Holi”. A few days ago, Sara gave her fans a sneak-peek of her solo getaway, she took to her Instagram handle and shared pictures featuring her in a cream-coloured dupatta wounded around her neck and ankle-length kurti. Posing in the backdrop of the brilliantly lit city at the time of dawn, Sara was seen taking a boat ride in the Ganga river. The pictures were simply captioned, “Ganga Nadi (sic).”
On the professional front, Sara Ali Khan recently wrapped up the shooting of her upcoming David Dhawan-directorial, Coolie No. 1 with Varun Dhawan and Jaaved Jaaferi in Goa. Sara and Varun began filming for Coolie No. 1 in Thailand earlier last year. After that, they shot in Mumbai and the team finally moved to Goa for a start-to-finish eight-days schedule last week. Both Sara and Varun seem very excited to present the remake of the hit 1995 film which too was helmed by David Dhawan and led by Govinda and Karisma Kapoor.
