The teaser for actor Vijay’s upcoming movie Sarkar is out, and it has already broken records after it garnered 11 million views on YouTube in just 6 hours. The teaser was shared on social media on October 19, and it has got fans raving about how the actor looks. The movie, which is being directed by AR Murugadoss, also has Keerthy Suresh, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Yogi Babu and Radha Ravi as its stars. The teaser of the movie, which was co-written by B Jeyamohan with its music composed by AR Rahman, begins by showing Vijay’s character as being a corporate monster who destroys his competition without giving a single thought. He is seen arriving in India, but says he is not there to acquire any company but to cast his vote. However, when he gets to the booth, he finds out that someone else has voted in his name. Finding out that someone had voted in his name starts a revolution. He enters politics and says that he will bring about a change in the society in one day. He takes on the political bigwigs and thugs who stand in his way, the way he took down his corporate opponents. As per Hindustan Times, director AR Murugadoss had recently revealed that the styling of Vijay’s character in the film was inspired by Google CEO Sundar Pichai. He also said in the interview with Vikatan that the team had done extensive research in Sundar Pichai’s life.
The film began production in January 2018, and is scheduled to be released in November 2018, coinciding with Diwali.
